About Hypnotherapy
As a certified hypnotherapist, I offer Heart Centered Hypnotherapy to clients involved in the therapeutic process. Not to be confused with hypnosis, Heart Centered Hypnotherapy is a form of psychotherapy that utilizes hypnosis as a component to treatment, in order to explore more deeply the root of struggles that seem to haunt us in ordinary life. Unlike strategies used in stage hypnosis, this treatment is undergone with full awareness and control.
As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Ohio, and a credentialed Heart-Centered Hypnotherapist, I completed a very intense, 60-hour training program through the Wellness Institute, based in Issaquah, WA. Heart Centered Hypnotherapy was created by Diane Zimberoff and is an integral part of treatment that is currently being used at the Cleveland Clinic. |
Holistic
|
Heart Centered Hypnotherapy is a holistic form of therapy that utilizes the mind, body and spirit connection for healing. In summary, it focuses on current dilemmas, and their associated emotions and body experiences. Using this information, the hypnotic state is used to create a sense of relaxation, and deeper focus and awareness, as a bridge to clearly identify the deeper source of the experience. Through hypnotherapy, deep lying patterns can be better identified, understood, and reconfigured to bring about healing and resolution.

Integrative
|
Heart Centered Hypnotherapy, unlike traditional talk therapy, integrates both hemispheres of the brain, as well as working on the lower/reptilian brain/brain stem, all the way up to the frontal cortex. Traditional talk therapy is limited to the frontal cortex and the left side of the brain, which is highly analytical. By integrating all aspects of the brain, as well as the conscious and unconscious, deeper awareness can occur, as well as a far deeper resolution to ongoing life struggles. Although there is intensity with this treatment, it can be highly cathartic and can even be experienced as transformative.
